Welcome to my blog!

I created this blog with the intention of opening a forum for discussion on the state of our lives as human beings. So much has changed us as human beings, especially within the last century. It may well be time to take a real hard look at where we once were, as compared to where we are now, and ponder the notion of what it truly means to be a civilized people. All ideas and opinions are welcome, as long as the discussion remains civilized (no pun intended).

So I ask you: do you really believe that we are a civilized people? If so, why? If not, where did we go wrong? Why are traditional values so shunned, and "anything goes" is the preferred way of life? What have we gained...what have we lost?

These and many more questions form the basis of this blog.
It is my hope that, through true personal introspection, honest evaluation about the state of our world, and thoughtful discussion, something good may be realized for the betterment of all.
